About Hackercats
We are a passionate group of student programmers and hackers at Montana State University. Our club brings together students who are interests in cybersecurity topics.
Our Mission
- Educate - Cultivate a community of students that are passionate about Cybersecurity
- Learn - Educate students and members of the public on cybersecurity topics and career opportunities.
- Compete - Participate and host capture-the-flag (CTF) events where we can build and test our skills
What We Do
- CTF Competitions: We actively participate in a few Capture-The-Flag cybersecurity competitions each semester.
- Mentoring: Experienced members guide newcomers through their cybersecurity journey. We provide a set of lectures and hands-on work to learn about hacking.
- Community Events: We organize CTF events for local community organizations like the Bozeman High School and other cybersecurity curious groups.
